With specially designed cast end tanks for the Evolution 10, the AMS Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X Front Mount Intercooler is a direct bolt-on that uses your factory piping and mounting locations. Compared to the stock intercooler, this one has an internal flow area that is over 80% larger. Without even retuning the ECU, our standard Evolution 10 added 10-wheel horsepower over the factory core just by slapping it on! A real AMS Intercooler will show the competitors that your EVO means business, but beware—the menacing AMS logo might deter them!
Engineered Quality For Superior Performance & Durability
Cast aluminum end tanks have been added to this AMS intercooler for increased durability and better features and geometry. These A356 T6 Alloy Aluminum end tanks, designed by our engineering team using Solidworks (3D CAD software), offer better flow over sheet metal end tanks and have gusseted brackets to avoid cracking or failure. To guarantee quality, we go above and beyond our rivals. The best Garrett Cores are used in our EVO X FMICs. To ensure maximum performance, each AMS Intercooler is hand TIG welded in a jig for a flawless fit. It is then pressure tested to 50 psi.
Ultimate Efficiency, Hassle-Free Installation, And Proper Fitment
Before settling on the greatest intercooler core on the market, we tested a number of them. The bar and plate-style core is 1250 cfm flowing, 12.4′′ tall, 20′′ wide, and 3.5′′ thick. This is the same tough intercooler core that we used in our record-breaking Time Attack EVO, which has been shown to be effective up to 780 hp. The AMS intercooler utilizes all factory mounting points, keeps the factory crash beam, and doesn't need to be cut or trimmed. For a correct fit with the intercooler pipe, we even added an angled intake that is identical to the factory's.

Orders over $500 will ship insured and over $1,000 with signature and insurance in order to guarantee delivery. Orders over $1000 may not be able to ship to a different address not listed as the billing address or confirm payment address from the form of payment used. Orders with suite numbers, different billing, or apartment numbers will require signature if valued over $100.
All international orders outside of the USA are subject to duties and taxes fees per your countries jurisdiction and determined by customs.

Processing and logistics on in stock international orders can take up to 7 business days to process & ship.
In stock, non special order items can be returned within 30 days of the product arriving to your house or place of work.
Returns will NOT be accepted on Clearance Items, Final Sales, Special Orders, Opened, Installed, Incomplete, or Otherwise Used Products. In order to initiate a return, an RMA number must be requested and approved via e-mail. All returns will be subject to a 20% restocking fee minus complete shipping cost (roundtrip).
Any processed orders that have not shipped will incur a 6% cancelation refund fee unless the product was not available to ship within a timely manner. No fee will be incurred if used as store credit.
